Cartoons Tota-Myna:Global Fashion in India

  1. Ha ha, that's pretty funny, I like it. I especially like the more subtle messages of the comic, like the large television possibly representing how globalization not only entails reaching standards of similarity, but also utilizing the conveyance of information via television. It's size is dominant compared to the birds which, as we all remember from the saying "a little bird told me", could represent word of mouth among other forms of communication. Is this comic not also taking a jab at how our face-to-face communication is deteriorating in light of the immense rise of telecommunication technologies? Ha ha, I could be sooooo wrong here. Either way, it's good.
