  1. Financing of the crax loot or crude loot in the neo-liberal economy. All prices up human labour costs; stable or going down. Materials are needed are scarce, humans are too many are a problem. Crude problem, YES

  2. "Crude problem" says it all! I guess we'll have to live with it, as we do with all the other problems in our misgoverned country.

  4. The link in the pricing seems a crude joke but and here I go again with my buts,breaking the harmony of the forest,the crude attempts to make money by the government is more pathetic. If only they spent the money in massive improvement of the infrastructure would be worth it. If the subsidy for kerosene reached the common man it would be worth it.In fact this has led to massive misuse. I know at least one man who used to push himself the cart in villages in my home town is now worth tens of crores.The subsidised kerosene was used to adulterate diesel and petrol. Is this not a definition of a double whammy, whatever that is.
    Nor is the extra money used in developing any alternatives seriouly,despite all the sun and the gobar around. Me and my fellow bulls will continue to produce more which should produce a stink, someday it will have a use.Crude joke,tears but still hope.

    Do not go gentle into that forest night,
    All birds should burn and rave at close of day;
    Rage, rage against the rising of the prices of crude by the might(y).

  6. I thought there were a lot of birds around! Now I realize that the dear bulbul may be an animal donning feathers. He is welcome though he is tired as he said earlier,spent was the word he used.'Spent' was he earlier racing in Dalal Street and now hiding in the forest?

  7. The football matches has created fresh issues for the Totas I understand. As a result of the Octopus predicting the football results, there is demand for them and the roadside astrologers are now throwing Totas out of employment. So this tota will have to help all his cousins out of job! Interesting how the capitalist markets are creating pain all around.Even the birds have to yield to the market forces.
    Should we expect an obserant octopus around instead of the Tota? As this tota does not predict just observes the goings on I hope he is safe in this blog's jungle.
    A worried bird,
