Poetry of the day

Trouble

Trouble is , very few have
truly believed
over the centuries ;
mostly it has been : “maybe”
or “might as well”.
It can`t be otherwise of course ,
the way life is .

But default positions , accumulated ,
find inevitable roots ,
swell up into practical power .
And this has blanketed all
unnamed yearnings
and ungrasped meanings ,
subverted poetry , music , and such ;
impoverished each day`s newness
and possibilities ,
over the centuries .
Poets , songsters , even scientists
have succumbed ,
turned saints .

What do I do ?
as I traverse each day
with my own paltry contrivances ,
unsupported by help from history ;
except fill up with this
enormous rage ,
and outrage .

  1. Trouble is, I wait for many to
    truly believe

    Define your own maybe and the might as well
    Not the way life is; make life your way

    Yes the roots are so deeply wedged
    but find the strength to uproot it
    Flow with the yearnings and the the desires
    the sins of your strength will uproot other lives though!!

    History will not help you
    Neither will sainthood
    your rage is really a question
    why is it so important to be part of history anyways!!!

  2. No, no, no ! I dont give a damn about history , or faith ,or sainthood or such . It is about getting through each day -- without any support except my own abilities...which are poor.

  3. Why should one judge one's ability all the time. Be easy about life. Let things flow.Let life be lived in an uncomplicated way.

  4. Hmmmmmm poor Abilities ...well the ability to get impressionist minds introduced to zen & art of....; ability to tread less chosen paths and inspire some of us to want to do that; ability to view the world in a easy forgiving way albeit with a smirk; ability to be so individualistic and diffft and wow so many of us wanting to be a bit like u ...those I remembr..couldnt hav changed so much..will check it out for sure this time when we meet again..
